Alex Job has been in the racing and automobile business for his entire career. After working in the dealership business and racing cars he jumped to full time racing and team ownership by forming Alex Job Racing ("AJR") in 1988. AJR has consistently been considered one of the top sports car competitors in the world and is the longest competing teams in the ALMS. These accolades come due to the team's ability to consistently perform well on and off the track representing car manufactures and sponsors to the highest level. The results speak for themselves: AJR has captured four drivers' championships and three team championships
As a driver, Job had a 2nd place finish at the 1990 Rolex 24 at Daytona as well as a 2nd place finish at the 1991 12 Hours of Sebring. In 1992 he decided to retire from driving duties recognizing that for the team to be a true success, he needed to pursue the primary role as team owner, manager, and engine builder. Since that time he has built a world class racing organization with loyal team veterans that have been with Alex during the majority of his racing career. Alex and his wife Holly live in the suburbs of Orlando, Florida.
